Situated on the Singel Canal in Amsterdam, SALON188 is dedicated to the connection between East Asian culture and Europe.

The space brings together art, design and experiences through a varied programme of exhibitions and cultural encounters.

It offers a setting where people can slow down, engage and connect.

Founded by Artelogue, an Amsterdam-based art and culture consultancy, SALON188 brings the historical concept of the salon into the present.

The salon was a place where ideas circulated, taste was formed and culture was shaped through conversation. It existed to educate and to delight.

Today, SALON188 is a contemporary curated platform for an internationally minded audience, for whom the arts start a conversation.
